Pretty enough to cheat?

Someone stole your man? Can't get a job in stocks? Apparently it's just your hormones. University of Texas PhD candidate Kristina Durante, recently made international headlines with her thesis that attractive women have higher than average levels of oestradiol, which is a fertility hormone she claims leads them to flirt and consider infidelity to "trade up" partners.

You might also be interested to know that, coincidentally, research released around the same time on male hormones claimed the most prosperous male financial traders in London had longer ring fingers, a sign of exposure to high levels of testosterone in the womb.

How true are these findings? Do you hold opposing views? Pretty ladies; are you really more likely to cheat? And male financial traders; have you checked your ring finger yet?

That's amore!

Seeing pictures of Italy is enough to inspire romance in even the most sceptical souls. Whilst in Italy, in the space of 5 days I was lucky enough to witness a beautiful marriage proposal on the waters of Venice, a white winter wedding in Piazza San Marco and watched a romantic Roman experience of my own unravel. The scenery, the art, the history, the music, the food! I could carry on all day about my love affair with Italy, but instead, tell us about your Italian experience. Have you ever been to Italy? Calling Time!

Getting your first phone call from that person you have your sights on can be very exciting, but often the time and nature of that call can be the deciding factor as to where that relationship is headed. A call too late or a call too soon can mean the difference between something potentially meaningful and something brief. Are you sensitive when it comes to how soon someone calls you after they've obtained your number? If you're the caller, do you utilise the universal "cool" period before dialling their digits? How soon is too soon?

As the caller, have you ever waited far too long and missed your chance? Or, as the receiver, has that long awaited call taken weeks to arrive, leaving the momentum way behind? Is it refreshing for you to receive a call the same day or night of having surrendered your number to someone? Are you irked if that call comes too soon? What if that call arrives late at night (granted they are in the same time zone)? If you're making a call after a certain hour, do you realise this can sometimes tell the receiver that you aren't one to be taken seriously? And don't even get me started on SMS...
