Looking for love on the go

Check your RSVP messages on the train!

Did you know you can look for love on your phone with RSVP mobile? We're currently looking at ways to make the mobile site better and would love to hear your ideas on what works, what doesn't and why you would or wouldn't use RSVP mobile!

There are plenty of reasons why you might want to use RSVP on your mobile... you can see if someone has sent you a kiss while on the bus coming home from work, you can email arrangements for a date discreetly from the office, you can even check out a person's profile in the pub!

You can go here for details of how to get RSVP on your mobile, or you can text RSVP (for the standard cost of an SMS) to 1999 6060.

We have an active community of mobile RSVPers, but what we'd like to know is: are you among them? If you are, what's good (and bad) about the service? If not, what's putting you off using RSVP on your mobile phone?

I love dating by SMS. It is so instantaneous. Like one of my female acquaintances whom I meet some years ago on RSVP. We meet for coffee once a year (so far) (but I think I might finally have done my dash). SMS messaging is ideally suited for rapid romances of this sort

What a great idea to use RSVP on your mobile . . . in theory!!!

I have tried zillions of times to send an email to someone who responded to my kiss only for the message to keep coming up with "Unable to connect to this service at the moment, please try again later" so I try day after day to send this email with no luck as I keep getting the same message. And because I have to go into the guys profile everytime to send the email, the poor boy probably thinks I am stalking him. As far as he sees, I check out his profile everyday but never make contact. I'M TRYING TO!!!!

I have tried phoning RSVP to sort this out but no-one is ever available. I then sent emails to RSVP but to no avail. No-one seems to care that a member cannot use this feature properly.

Is anyone else having this problem?????

I love using RSVP on my mobile - I am with 3 - its just $4 per month flat ----- I get a beep beep and I smile .... another kiss or email from an admirer. It is a wonderful boost for my day. I highly recommend it. At night, I use my PC to access the RSVP site because it has more options for replying to kisses and of course, its easier to type on my keyboard. see ya, from Chrissy

i started up using RSVP on my mobile there are not the same options for sending kisses and replying to them,if there was more and better options i would use it more often. i also have trouble sending emails back to people that have contacted me.

I see it as a money making scheme rather than convenience for RSVP users. I don't personally see it as necessary.

My mobile is one place where I know if it rings it is either urgent, a friend, a family member, or for someone in my work situation, (voluntary, of course). Very little is that private these days, and I do not need or want the extra calls or bills.

I used my mobile to access my RSVP account for about a week while my computer was being fixed. It was good to have that service available, however it's something I would only use occassionally. The cost of accessing the pages and the time it takes to load each page would be my main reasons for not using it routinely.
